No other states have legislation on flu vaccine yet, so this is somewhat ground breaking territory. I was hoping for a better response to my question. Anyone out there have an opinion?

I think that is ridiculous. I declined on my daughter having that shot and I would be absolutely upset if it were mandatory in order for a child to attend any sort of schooling. I remember when the flu was just something everyone dealt with, it sucked, but it wasn’t that big of a deal except to the eldery or really young (with exception to those who also had/have a very detrimental disease or illness). It infuriates me that they would go that far to make a dollar off a shot that is not necessary…
Required vaccination can not be supported if legally challenged. It may be wise to vaccinate your child depending on the child but being forced to do it is another question completely and I do not support this measure.
Actually it is not necessarily required… there are waivers for New Jersey for medical and religious reasons. So it is not mandatory. The state cannot take away your rights. There is formaldehyde in the flu vaccine…. and for children 3+ there is mercury in the vaccine. So just so you know, they still cannot make you give it to your child. They can still go to daycare without it. We still have a choice.
It’s insane. government gone mad.
flu shots are useless poison.
