installing any H.I.D. system where there used to be a halogen system is illegal…(under federal jurisdiction)
you’re less likely to get busted if you have a “whiter” color temperature (5300k) versus a yellow (lower) or blue (higher) color temperature
and most officers will give you no issues about it anyway, unless you are blinding other drivers…
No its not illegal.They come in only one color. that I have seen.
HID uses very high voltage to heat the bulb so make sure before you do that the kit comes with new wiring to handle it. I have seen kits that just give you a bulb and a ballast no wiring and that is dangerous.
