well to know what annuals will grow best you must first consider when and where you are planting. like what side of a building. light requirements are a major factor. just look up annuals, find one that will grow in that temperature zone. just work on that.

First of all an annual is a plant that blooms for the season and dies at the end it will not come back next year. There are a lot of annuals that grow in New Jersey. It depends on what you are doing with them. There a daisy’s, snap dragons, saliva, pansies, petunias which are my favorite they have lots of colors and smell nice. Certain lily’s, mums, geraniums, and that is just to name a few. They are all smaller annual plants they have some that grow tall as well. You can go to your local farm market and ask them or you can search online for annuals. Lowe’s sells all of the ones I named and there is usually someone that can help you with your plant choices.
