An ez-pass violation is on the car, not the driver’s license. It is like a parking ticket.

Pay the fine. The system is designed to raise money, not to be fair!

One of the requirements to get a class A CDL is that you must be able to read english well enough to understand road signs. At every NYC toll booth there are signs for at least a half mile and all the way accross all of the bridges, there are both over head signs as well as signs on the side of the road saying CASH ONLY and EZ PASS ONLY. What part didn’t he understand? Not to mention the flashing yellow light and purple signs at all EZ Pass only lanes.

He’s S.O.L. on this one. They gave plenty of warning about what lane to be in. Now if it was NJ he’d get a free pass once every six months, but not in the city.

And Fire 4511 is wrong, an EZ Pass violation in NY state is two points on a drivers license. Also posted on a sign at every toll booth.
