It’s 1145 miles to drive. Presuming 18 mpg on the highway in the Buick, it’ll cost you $270 in gas to make the trip. Tolls are minimal, and there are none south of Maryland.

It’s a two-day drive, so forget camping and renting a trailer. It’s not commonly done. Just stay in a hotel along I-95. All the hotels advertise on billboard signs, so when you get tired of driving the first day (wherever that may be), just pick a hotel from the billboard signs. Ramada’s run about 70-80 a night. It’s worth it to get a hotel room, a decent meal and hot shower in the morning.

See ya’ when you get here!

the easiest route is I-95 and you will get hit with 3 tolls in delaware and 2 in maryland for about $15 going and $20 coming back (maryland gets you a 3rd time coming north) no tolls after that though. it is a reasonable enough drive (15-17 hours) that with more than one person you can do it without stopping. gas will be costly as it is everywhere (I am a NYer who know lives in FLA and gas is more expensive here than NJ). i am not familiar with PSL as I live on the other coast but you can always check through AAA and the internet. good luck
