If I read it correctly you forgot that your RENTAL car did not have the ez pay tag on it and you didn’t stop to pay the fees that are required to use the road. I am not sure exactly what the fine will be but if it is a rental car they may send a bill to that company because of the license plate registration. That company in turn may fine you. You might want to call the place that issued you the ez pay tag and see what they say about it. Explain what you told us and ask them what you can do about it if you can settle it without going to court or anything.
