The accident Was actually on July 19, 1959 in Newark, New Jersey. It was a severs head trauma. A car hit a 2 year old child while crossing the street. She was taken to Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark.

You might to go to your library and ask for help – They do have news paper articles in their achieves (on mic. roll /s) or even newspaper office could help you out.

odd question ! news papers would have historical records .as for hosp. unsure what records they would keep ,since computers keep records now .
