i hate it too, i hate having to wait for an attendant to get to me and having to give them my debit card and stuff. i live in delaware but travekl to jersey pretty often (i’m from nj and have family there), and it’s so friggin annoying

It’s a bigger risk to pump it yourself…..didn’t you ever see the show “What would you do?” lol
But I would never pump gas…..ever! =]

It’s pressure from labor rights groups for the attendants. They rationalize it by saying that consumers top-off which is bad for the environment and it’s safer for consumers because they don’t have to get out of their cars. It’s basicaly just a big scam.
