Lola R asked:

I’m 17 and this guy I like is 23. He doesnt want to get involved until I’m 18 because thats the norm for “no longer jailbait” but everywhere I’ve searched they don’t address anything over 16 for new jersey. It just says the actor can only be four years older if the victim or whatever is between 13 and 16…so does that mean its okay?

jfroger24 asked:

Landlord claims since its his building and there are five apartments he has the right to pay his super or treat the building himself for pest control even though neither are licensed for pest control applications, the products they buy are from the store (over the counter). Is this violation of the law in New Jersey.

Is this real? I’ve got people telling me it’s legit but then I’ve got people telling me it just doesn’t work that way because an official petition requires signatures. The number is 973-409-3274. Try it out. If you think it’s a scam to get your number or something just dial *67 before it to block your number. I checked the area code, it’s in New Jersey. It sounds pretty real to me.

Erick O asked:

Last night coming home from New Jersey on the Verrezano bridge I was about to go through a toll plaza when a cop pulled me over.He said I was going 80 mph in a 50 zone. This was completely false as I was going 55 and I had my mother, my grandmother, and my sister in the car. It was not humanly possible for me to approach the toll plaza doing 80 and expect to go through safely. The cop pulled me over 20 feet before the toll plaza. What is the best way to contest this ticket?

I’ve been searching for this information all day, but no site seems to give a straight answer. I’ve tried official sites like the online New Jersey Legistlature and other such sources of information, but I haven’t found what I was looking for and just ended up getting tangled in a slew of bills and irrelevant laws. If you could provide a link as well, that would be very much appreciated.

concerned asked:

we’ve got divorced April 2006. We were separated at the beginning of 2005.
when we were separated I came back to my home country(june 2005), but he stayed in US.During August 2005, he asked my sister(rather threatened) to signed the ack of the car tile paper for giving the vehicle as a gift form. My sister is still in US. This vehicle was under my name but he was using it as if it is his own. She signed the paper on behalf of me. This Semptember my sister got fines under my name for not paying the toll money at the NY EZ-pass for four times.
I am certain he did this on purpose before changing his MO plate to NY. He did not change my MO plate to his last year. He waited one year to change it. Just before changing it he did not my the toll fee so that I get all the fines. I want to sue him. He did not give back my diamond ring which I have given him and took the car, although I gave him what he gave me when we got married. How can I sue this guy? Plz help..I will go to US next w

Why do you hate New Jersey?

tbgman15 asked:

This is a poll for people living in New Jersey:
What are the top ten things you hate about our wonderful state I honestly hate New Jersey. I hate it with passion. I’ve lived in Monmouth County for 20 years until I went to college.

1. Roundabouts and JUG HANDLES
2. EZ Pass
3. inability to make left turns
4. It’s ugly and over developed
5. the turnpike
6. Factories in the Amboys put out so much pollution that it makes us the most polluted state in the country. I used to commute by there everyday and that oil refinery stunk so bad
7. The beaches are overcrowded. They’re packed with shoobies from New York and Pennsylvania that can’t drive. And the only really clean beaches are down by Wildwood
8. property taxes are high
9. sales tax is high
10. The whole state government is probably the most corrupt in the country. Our governors are horrible, and most of the town mayors take bribes from developers.
